New 2013 Major Risk Medical Insurance Program (MRMIP) Premium Rates Effective January 1, 2013.

Effective January 1, 2013 the MRMIP premium rates will change.
One of the ways PCIP applicants can demonstrate proof of a pre-existing condition is by submitting an offer letter of individual (not group) health coverage with higher premiums than the MRMIP preferred provider organization (PPO) rate in the area where they live. The offer letter must be dated within the last 12 months.
This offer letter shows that the applicant was offered higher premium rates for health coverage than the MRMIP PPO premium rates. The PCIP will use these new MRMIP premium rates to validate the proof for a pre-existing condition for applications received on or after January 1, 2013.
