Important Resources for Insurance Agents, Brokers, Health-Related Organizations and Community-Based Organizations
California Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP), authorized by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, is designed to provide coverage to uninsured individuals who have been denied health insurance or been offered only unaffordable options. The program will serve 17,000 – 24,000 Californians.
To spread the message about this important program, we are using websites, newsletter articles, e-mail communication, and social media. Your assistance is critical to reaching eligible person and promoting this valuable resource!

PCIP Presentations can be printed or viewed as an instructional tool for PCIP information.
Outreach Flyers can be used for distribution to potential applicants, at health fairs, or doctor’s offices or community events. This color flyer is double-sided and contains important program information such as eligibility requirements, benefits and costs.
PCIP Outreach Newsletters can be used as a resource guide for insurance agents/brokers, health-related organizations, and community based organizations for your assistance in promoting PCIP to your clients.
